We like to know that we have enough to be successful before we even start an endeavor. God, who knows everything and who has perfectly plotted the course of our lives, often calls us to leadership and service without providing everything we believe we need to succeed.
Not everyone who wants to benefit from what a leader proposes, actually follows in bringing what they want to pass. God is glorified when those who He called to lead, will lead and when His people follow.
There are always challenges with success; but you lead knowing that the God who is the source of your success is the God who provides what you need for the challenges that come with the success.
Real leadership has more to do with service than status. Great, heroic leaders, regardless of how similar or different, are remembered for what they give and for their unique sacrifice.
Every person who leads in anything over a period of time will encounter some type of failure. The question isn’t will you fail, but how you face the failure!
